Plant Construction
For Triple i scopes, construction is provided by combining our own electrical and mechanical teams, with other services as required. These may be subcontracted by us or engaged directly by the customer.
The construction work that Triple i performs is associated with the fabrication, erection, modification and repair of process facilities. This often involves the flow of fluids, power and associated controls.
For these construction tasks in the process and control scopes there is a close mechanical and electrical relationship required. Our coverage of both aspects means we can directly coordinate these construction requirements. We can plan both works in the construction process and work around each disciplines needs to meet the schedules required.
Combining Capabilities
Our capability in construction can range from the installation of a control element through to erection and associated cabling for a process facility.
Some jobs have a mechanical focus, and may require electrical connections or cabling. Some jobs are electrical and have mechanical input such as cable rack installation, brackets and mountings.
Some projects have a moderate level of construction for both skills.
Some areas where the combined electrical/mechanical coverage provides high impact are:
- Field sensors and controls.
- Asset removal and relocation
- Packaged solutions e.g. skid or container housed equipment
- Plant modifications
- Maintenance
- Shutdowns
