A pre-engineered solution is a product that is setup ready for a customer to use. It could be a simple calibration through to a loaded spare part with full configuration and network setup. 

• A field transmitter may have a calibration sheet and parameter listing.
• A signal converter will be ready for use.
• A remote IO unit will have it's address and other parameters set.  
• A VFD may have various parameters and network addressing setup. 

Testing

The PES will be delivered with a test sheet confirming the setup and, where possible, the operation.

Where the device has a configuration file or program, it will be supplied with the goods.
